Comms vNext Privacy Policy
We know how important your personal information is, so we’ve put together this Privacy Policy to let you know how we collect, use, and protect your data. We’re here to help you have an amazing time at Comms vNext, and that means keeping things transparent and safe.
1. What Data We Collect
We’re going to ask you for some info when you register for the event – you know, the usual stuff like your name, email, job title, and company. We might also ask for things like dietary restrictions (we want to make sure you’re fed!) and emergency contacts (just in case).
2. How We Use Your Data
We’ll use your data to register you for the event, keep you in the loop with event updates, and make sure you have access to everything you signed up for. Plus, we’ll share your info with our sponsors – they help make this event possible, and they might want to follow up with you after the event.
3. Data Sharing with Sponsors
Sponsors are a big reason why we’re able to bring Comms vNext to life. To show our appreciation, we share limited info with them, like your name, email, company, and job role. But don’t worry – you can opt out if you prefer to keep things between us.
4. How Long We Keep Your Data
We hang onto your data for about 18 months after the event so we can send you follow-ups, updates, and make sure you’re in the loop for the next one. After that, your data will be deleted or anonymized, unless we need it for legal reasons.
5. We Don’t Store Your Credit Card Info
When you register, any payments go through our third-party payment provider (Stripe), and we don’t store your credit card details. Your payment info stays between you and Stripe – we’ll just be over here making sure everything else goes smoothly.
6. Security Measures
We take reasonable security measures to protect your data, but let’s be real – no system is perfect. Still, we do our best to keep your info safe and sound.
7. Your Rights
You’ve got rights! You can request access to your data, ask us to delete it, or let us know if something’s wrong. Just reach out, and we’ll take care of it.
