As the leader of Unify Square’s global consulting practice, Alan is responsible for delivering a range of services including strategic planning, solution architecture, implementation, user adoption, and operations. He also drives innovative strategies for Unify Square’s flagship product, PowerSuite, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Industry veterans regard him as the original architect of Microsoft’s ICE/STUN/TURN solution, a media establishment protocol that continues to play a foundational role in Skype for Business and Teams. With over 10 years of Microsoft experience as a Senior Program Manager in the Mobility, Networking, and OCS/Lync groups, Alan brings a wealth of insight and expertise to Unify Square’s groundbreaking technology and the overall UC ecosystem. He led the Microsoft Technology Adoption Program (TAP), which empowered dozens of global enterprise customers to embark on their UC journey.
Alan is a regular speaker at conference events and received his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington. During the off hours, you’ll find him waving a baton in front of the Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra, a community organization that he founded in 1999.
