Kevin has over 20 years of technical industry experience in various systems engineering and consulting roles with organizations such as Verizon, Hewlett Packard, and Microsoft. Along with many industry certifications, Kevin holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Communications and recently earned a second Masters degree in Cyber Security from the University of Maryland.
Focusing early in his career on Microsoft Exchange solutions, Kevin’s passion for digital communications led into the collaboration and telecom capabilities of Microsoft Lync, Skype for Business and Teams. Kevin also specializes in cyber-security, driving awareness about attack patterns and mitigations. Now in his eleventh year working for Microsoft, Kevin has consulted on many complex on-premises, hybrid, and cloud engagements across commercial, federal and defense customers, has presented at many Microsoft conferences, and writes his own Microsoft TechNet blog.
Kevin currently leads a team of collaboration architects at Microsoft with a focus on architecting solutions with Microsoft Partners for Teams, Security, and Compliance. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland teaching cybersecurity undergraduate courses.
